Who We Are
Manila is operated by My Manila Folder, LLC, a single-person software company based in Los Angeles, California. Manila is a web application that helps vehicle owners document, organize, and share their car's maintenance and modification history.

What We Collect
We collect only what we need to run the product.
- Account information — your email address and any profile details you choose to add.
- Vehicle and maintenance data — everything you log inside Manila: projects, notes, photos, mileage, reminders.
- Usage data — pages visited, features used, session duration. Collected via Vercel Analytics and Google Analytics to help us understand how the product is being used.
- Email engagement — whether you open or click emails we send. Collected via Resend, our email service provider.
We do not collect payment information directly. If billing is added in the future it will be handled by a PCI-compliant third party.
How We Use Your Data
- To provide and maintain your account and vehicle records.
- To send you product updates, maintenance reminders, and occasional feature announcements you opted into at signup.
- To understand how Manila is being used and improve the product.
- To respond to support requests.
We do not sell your data. We do not use your data to train AI models. We do not share your data with third parties except the service providers listed below who help us operate the product.
Service Providers
- Supabase — database and file storage. Your vehicle data and photos are stored on Supabase-managed infrastructure.
- Resend — transactional and marketing email delivery.
- Vercel — web hosting and performance analytics.
- Google Analytics — aggregated usage analytics.
Each provider has their own privacy policy and data processing agreements. We choose providers with strong data security practices.
Public Share Links
Manila allows you to generate a public share link for any project. If you create one, anyone with the link can view that project's contents without logging in. You control this — share links can be disabled at any time from within the app.
Data Retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and vehicle records within 30 days. Some anonymized or aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.
Your Rights (including California / CCPA)
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your account and associated data.
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

Cookies
Manila uses minimal cookies — primarily for authentication (keeping you logged in) and analytics. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels for ad targeting.
Children's Privacy
Manila is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or a notice in the app. Continued use of Manila after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
